Week 13

In the past week, I have heard that a lot of people “don’t trust authors who write about AI.” There were quite a few people who asked me to not write this story. So please give me your opinion about my story line; I’m genuinely interested in hearing what you guys have to say. If I don’t hear any feedback, I will have to take the difficult step of canceling my current project and move on to another.

I don’t want to cancel this project, but if that is what the readers want, I will. I know that there has been an infinite amount of backlash towards the subject of AI, but that doesn’t mean that everyone hates it. I personally don’t mind it. I use AI apps to help me with obtaining information, whether it’s a random question or helping me with exercise routines. I think that it can be helpful. However, I can understand both sides of the argument.

While AI can be useful for simple tasks or even decision-making, it can generate fake videos, create misleading fake news, and can even produce explicit photos and videos. I’m not talking about cartoons; I am saying that AI has advanced to the point where it can manipulate information in a way that it can make anybody believe almost anything. AI is all over social media, causing misinformation and making it very hard for people to decipher between fact and fiction.

‘Till Next Time!
